All to Myself by Ava Kolker
‘All to Myself’ has a relaxing melodic feel with a heavy-hitting drum part that eases into a synthy keyboard bridge where a catchy and smooth chorus drives home the point of ‘All to Myself’.
At the core of this song, it’s a song about heartbreak, but it leaves you feeling hopeful.
“You don’t even know me” and other lines are relatable for anyone who has ever been in love with someone who just doesn’t truly understand them.
What is really interesting about this track is that it has an 80s synth vibe which is a really cool throwback and something that is unique in 2022.
Ava Kolker has a history of branching out and expanding her style. She captures raw feelings in her beautiful voice and everything about Ava is genuine.
“All to Myself” was written by Ava Kolker, Jak Shiloh, Manny Mijares, Pieter Oliver, and Tyler Conti and the track was produced by Manny Mijares, Josh Pendalwal, and Akhil Pendalwal.

Rock the Hip Hop Interview with Ava Kolker
Where are you from?
I am from Los Angeles. I was born in Tarzana and stayed in Los Angeles my whole life.
How has your city influenced your sound?
I think LA is such a vibrant city and there is so much diversity and culture. It’s been great to develop there as an artist.
What instruments do you play?
I am learning to play the piano and the guitar
What’s your best performance?
I would say in Orlando, Florida. I performed in front of about 3000 people and had everyone on their feet. It was exhilarating.
What is your worst performance?
It was also in Florida. I invited a few fans on stage with me, but then people kept coming up and it got a little out of control. I learned from that to read the crowd and not do that next time.
Tell us about your newest single.
My newest single “All to Myself” is about the influence an artist can have on his or her fans. The music can provide an escape but that can also turn into an infatuation.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I hope to be on a new TV show, making movies, and still making music. That would be my dream to be able to do all of it.
Does your family support your musical journey?
100%! They have always supported anything I am passionate about, so I am very blessed about that.
Who do you want to collaborate with?
I collaborated with Manny Mijares who has introduced me to amazing songwriters who I have had so much fun working with.
Any new projects you are working on that you want to share?
I have a movie I did with my sister that is coming out in select theatres and digitally on November 11. It’s called “Manifest West”. It is a drama about a 10-year-old girl who lives off the grid with her family. I get to play Lana Danik who is a bad influence, so a very different role for me. I am also working on finishing up an EP, so I am excited about that too.
