Tell us about your newest album ‘Between the Lines’?

As the name suggests, the album takes a deep look at all of the underlying emotions and thoughts found “between the lines.” It focuses on all things unwritten, subliminal, and secret. The songs are all about complicated relationships with people, whether that be a satirical critique of the nature of fame, a self-reflection, or a heartfelt message to a lost friend. I worked with 7 incredible music producers to create these 12 tracks and I’m so excited for everyone to hear!

How have Tik Tok and social media helped to promote your work?

The internet has completely changed the way music is promoted so it’s definitely impacted me a ton! I use social media to post about my releases and it helps me in that it makes it easier for people to discover my songs and connect with me!

Can you tell us more about the first single?

The first single off Between the Lines was Toxic! This song was a collaboration with the popular music producer Nippandab. We worked together to make a super upbeat slaphouse track that essentially says “you’re toxic, I don’t have to deal with you!” It’s so important to surround yourself with positive people that you trust and cut off toxic relationships, so this song focuses on that in a bit of a shady way.

Can you tell us about some of the collaborations on the album?

I worked with so many amazing people on this album including the popular South Korean producer Little Rain, the Grammy-shortlisted Mexican producer Ricardo Padua, the widely listened to Indian producer Nippandab, American Idol finalist Robbie Rosen, very talented German producer Toniia, the up-and-coming producer Noble, and the incredible Albanian producer Marin Hoxha! Working with so many talents from across the globe was such an amazing experience. All of their brilliant tracks perfectly suited my lyrics and melodies and truly brought the album to life.

What are some artists you want to collaborate with in the future?

My favorite singer, Conan Gray, would definitely be my dream collaboration! Some other talented recording artists I’d love to work with eventually are Billie Eilish, Gracie Abrams, Tate Mcrae, and Taylor Swift!

What comes after ‘Between the Lines’?

I already have some more music in the works! But for now, I’m going to be focusing on promoting this album and connecting with listeners!

How do you think turning 18 will change your music or artistic vision?

I honestly don’t think it’ll change my music vision all that much! I’ll still be the same person, just a bit older. But, who knows, maybe I’ll have some life-shaping experiences next year that will completely shift my vision. I’m excited to see what life has in store!

Other than music, what are some of your goals?

Going to college, succeeding academically, and advocating for the causes close to my heart are important goals for me as well! I want to continue to work hard in school and work with various charities to support the causes that I care for.

Is there an upcoming tour?

I wish! Tour is something that I would definitely love to do in the future and, as I grow in my artistry, I hope that it’ll become a possibility soon!
