Visions
“Visions” tells a story. Granted, that story is dark, but it has a beginning, middle, and end. “He calls his brother” and “has too many thoughts”. Then, he prays, arrives at his destination, and asks the Lord for forgiveness. “Visions” is a dark rap song that many of us can relate to. The streets cause many people to have many demons. The CA$HLIFE is someone who tells his struggle through his music. You can hear the pain in his voice, and that is why his music is so effective. You can honestly feel him meeting the devil and telling his story. We had to reach out to The CA$HLIFE about his music and his story.

Where are you from?
Athens, Georgia aka The Classic City.
How has your city influenced your sound?
My city is mostly known nationally for its college atmosphere and historic indie rock scene, however, there are many great hip hop artists hailed out of Athens, past & present, born & raised or migrated, each with different sounds.
I musically pulled from my past experiences around the street conscious, analyzing the joy & pain we’ve all experienced or witnessed with the La Familia. In addition, it is the hustle & struggle of an unspoken Athens that aids influence to my own sound.
What instruments do you play?
Lol, I grew up playing the tuba in middle school, but I’ve always messed with them keys, you know keyboard and piano but just on an amateur level.
What’s your best performance?
I’m still working towards it. I have a grinders mentality thus every time I go out I’m striving for the best.
What is your worst performance?
I’m an optimist so I can’t focus on my worst.
Tell us about your newest single.
I dropped tons of music recently but the most unique single still considered new is THE NARRATIVE, exclusively off the album BORN NEGUS.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Still touring, in the prime of my music, with a couple major awards & plaques, and financially blessed with the bag maximized.
Does your family support your musical journey?
To be honest, if you don’t support me then you are not my family. See for me family is beyond being blood related, it is the ones dedicated.
Who do you want to collaborate with?
It would be a dream to work with too many artist. All of MMG, Dreamville, & TDE, Migos & Duke Duece of QC, & all of the legendary members of Dungeon Family but it’s feature season baby, so any talented artist that’s professionally committed to their craft, meaning physically, mentally, & financially dm me right now. I’m building up my network, so tap in before we start charging.
