DaBaby – Rockstar feat. Roddy Rich (Single Review)
The music video for DaBaby’s Rockstar starts out as a modern day Thriller that meets The Walking Dead. DaBaby truly is a modern day rockstar. He truly is one of the better rappers that are out nowadays because he knows how to flow and how to make catchy music. Rockstar has some shocking lyrics such as: “My daughter a G, she saw me kill a n***a in front of her before the age of two/and I’ll kill another n***a too.” Rap is the modern day rock because of shocking lyrics such as this. We know DaBaby is just telling a story and being hyperbolic, but many parents wouldn’t appreciate their kids listening to songs with messages like this. Regardless, this is art. Rockstar is a catchy song where the bass hits hard!
