Jacqueleen Williams is a stunning talent on the rise

Rap artist Jacqueleen Williams from Canton, Ohio A.K.A “Hall of Fame City!” left home at the age of 21 to live out her dreams in the music hub of Atlanta, Georgia. Going by her government name to represent her artistry, Jacqueleen emulates sexy confidence and sophistication as she was raised to take pride in not only her name but her identity. The decision stands to prove to her fans and followers that she doesn’t require gimmicks or stunts to be recognized as a true and authentic talent. Even searching her name on streaming platforms such as Spotify won’t bring up any other profile but her own which is a rare occasion in today’s saturated industry. Making music since the age of 6, Jacqueleen has collected over 20 journals full of poetry and songs inspired by her everyday life. Initially, she was headed on the path of R&B but gradually transformed her sound into upbeat rap music. The transition came naturally as Jacqueleen navigated her young adult life and adapted into a new found independence. Her naturally edgy lyrical ability was fostered while growing up around 3 older brothers who encouraged roasting sessions for fun. As her confidence grew, so did her story-telling ability as Jacqueleen surfaced into a male-dominated music industry. It wasn’t until 2018 that she finally released her first single. A year before in 2017, Jacqueleen went viral on Facebook with a stunning 2 million views on her “For The D Challenge” freestyle video. Only at the beginning of her career taking off in the city of Atlanta, Jacqueleen allocated 15,000 streams on Spotify and 40,000 views on her first ever music video of a R&B track titled “Win Or Lose”. The sexy and sultry single can be described as love being a gamble (so choose wisely)! Her choice to release the song was an attempt to display her versatility and skillful writing ability coming off of her hottest Hip-Hop single “Real Bars”. Pushing the boundaries of Hip-Hop/R&B like predecessors such as Drake or Mary J Blige, Jacqueleen looks forward to more success as she prepares to release visuals and her first EP “No Gimic”.
