What is wrong with Kanye West? Serious question. He doesn’t make rap anymore. Kanye West makes rants. His feature is the most disappointing part of this track. All the other features really deliver and help to accentuate the beautiful instrumental.

“Murdered my ego when you walked away/it hurt my ego when you walked away,” lets you really feel the pain that Ty Dolla $ign is going through and why he ultimately finds happiness through ego death. Sometimes we need a kick in our ego to really see how things really are.
Simple Drum Beat
The simplicity of the drum beat actually helps to really bring out certain parts in this song. There are a lot of change ups to the beat which I enjoy. It goes from a really simple side stick rhythm to just a heavy bass to a little bit more complexity. This song is really well mixed and put together musically. Honestly, my only complaint is Kanye West.
