STARK STASH: VOLUME ONE REVIEW

STARK STASH: VOLUME ONE
DED STARK is a dynamic musical genius and his newest album “STARK STASH: VOLUME ONE” proves just that. The album starts off with “JADED” which is one of my favorite tracks on the album. The song is undeniably catchy and paints the picture of what happens when a person makes bad decisions that alters the outcome of their life.
2020 was the year of isolation and loneliness. The song “LONER” is very relatable because a lot of people feel this way. Then the song “AWKWARD” plays after “LONER” and it is the perfect sequel to “LONER”. The melodies on this album are so spacey and trippy. The lyrics on a lot of these songs are sad, but the music is bright and cheerful as well.
A trap beat starts the song out which is mixed with a synth keyboard riff that sounds almost middle eastern and it is hypnotic. Supercalifragilisticexpialadocious is the hook for the chorus and it works for the song. Once again the song that follows called “BRB” blends perfectly with the vibe of “SYMBIOSIS”. One could actually say that it is perfect symbiosis.
This album was incredibly enjoyable. My only complaint is that this album is too short. The album is only 25 minutes in length and I wish it was 2 hours in length. Honestly, STARK STASH: VOLUME ONE is an instant classic. DED STARK set out to create an album to express himself and share his feelings of being an outcast. He accomplished just that with this album.
