Rock the Hip Hop Interview with Hd57 The Ninjah

What city are you from?

Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.

How has your city influenced your sound?

To be honest, my country always been a spot of vacating or to embrace good energy but it’s also known for its street or urban lifestyle, it has influenced me in a way that my music reflect on both of those itself.

Tell us about your best performance?

I’d say one my best performance was at the great fete weekend festival held in Tobago which I got to perform on the same stage as popcaan, desiigner, and elephant man, the energy was great n overall it was a epic experience interacting with a crowd with at least or over 1000 people in the audience

Talk about your latest project.

I’m in the makes of an EP right now, but I won’t go into much details other than u can expect few features from artists u may know, internationally and local, but aside from that I’m just releasing singles some from that EP as well, like my latest music video n song study me that’s been getting great feedback so far. Basically the song depicts how I feel presently, it’s like good or bad people always got their eyes out looking at u weather it’s ur rise or downfall, in which it comes to comparison with the Trini slang “study me” which means and depict the exact same thing.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Honestly, I’d say rich… I’m not denying I’m already rich in spirit, An not the most fortunate in some ways but as a Rastafarian I’m on a constant road to self betterment or perfection everyday, so that means rich in all aspects, health, wealth, and being much more successful in my career as a artist than I am now.
