Interview with TRE NYCE
When we interviewed TRE NYCE, TRE says that he shares a similar sound to Drake. Actually, we disagree. We disagree because we feel that TRE NYCE is making important political statements in his music. Drake doesn’t go anywhere near politics, but TRE NYCE makes important music that is VERY relevant for our times. We were blown away when we heard BLACKMAN. Honestly, this song should be song at all Black Lives Matter rallies, and it was. TRE NYCE has performed in front of crowds of thousands of people. His music is important and he is making a statement. This is real rap, folks. Rap is supposed to come from the heart and be about something meaningful.
When you think of R.E.S.P.E.C.T, Aretha Franklin comes to mind. Aretha Franklin was singing about respect during her generation and now TRE NYCE poetically makes his case on why he deserves respect. His new track “r.e.s.p.e.c.t” is high quality. It is a well done song that commands respect and attention. We had the privilege of interviewing TRE NYCE.
